Q: How does the free download and licensing work?

The kit is free to download and fully functional in Q-SYS Designer's emulation mode. To deploy on a physical Core, buy a license: at checkout you enter your Core's locking ID, and we generate a license that unlocks the UCI on that Core. One license per Core.
